West River Holdings is a privately held company founded in 2000 by Randy McGregor of Prince George, British Columbia. The company has developed a professional construction team with extensive experience in providing services for the Forestry, Mining, and Oil and Gas Industries throughout British Columbia. West River Holdings has a reputation for the ability to provide quality products and services in a safe and productive manner. Many of our clients come from referrals and repeat business.
West River Holdings specializes in the development of access roads, right of way and site clearing, bridge installations and removals, and earthworks. We also provide site services such as heavy equipment, all-terrain vehicles, marine services, emergency response services, security, traffic control, and wildlife monitor services. Bridge Installations:West River Holdings specializes in installing resource and permanent bridges, from smaller log structures to large multi –span bridges. We also provide services for bridge removals, upgrades, repairs and maintenance.

Road Construction and Deactivation:Road construction and deactivation have always been the mainstay of West River Holdings.
Our focus has been on Forestry resource access roads, as well as road deactivation and maintenance. We also have experience with culvert installation and replacement including large multi-plate designs installed in environmentally sensitive areas.

Mine Site Development:West River Holdings provides services for mine site development. Experience includes clearing new mine sites, building settling ponds and dump sites, and general construction on site.

Oil & Gas Services:
Projects we have completed in the Oil and Gas Industry include development of access roads, right of way and site clearing, deactivation, helicopter pad clearing and construction, and general earthworks. We supply site services such as heavy equipment, all-terrain vehicles, marine services, emergency response services, security, traffic control, and wildlife monitor services. Experience also includes well site construction, well site abandonment, clean up and reclamation.

Randy McGregor - President
Over 30 years of experience in the Heavy Construction, Forestry, and Oil and Gas Industries. Randy has extensive experience in road construction layout and development, road deactivation, site access planning, clearing, and deactivation, right of way clearing, bridge installations and removals, and earthworks. Randy also has experience in business management. Providing quality products and services in the safest and most productive manner has always been Randy’s philosophy. |

Melvin Schlamp – Project Manager
With a background in Construction and Forestry Melvin has 14 years experience in a variety of project management positions. Melvin has excellent skills in contract bidding, negotiations, and administration. His strengths lay in his ability to achieve production targets and timelines. |

Gus Schlamp – Project Supervisor
Over 30 years experience in the construction and logging industries. Expertise includes development of access roads and right of way clearing. Gus has experience in all aspects of project supervision including coordinating and scheduling crew, implementing all aspects of safety and environmental monitoring policies, and is known to “get the job done” in a safe and efficient manner. |
